2020, what can we say? It's been a challenging year to say the least. Businesses had to shift like never before. Everyone had to show maximum flexibility and had to dig deep to come up with creative solutions during these difficult times. It takes great commitment from management and employees to come out on the other side of this pandemic.

2020 will go down in the history books as the lockdown-year. A big part of this year was spent in isolation and that comes with its own challenges. It's hard to stay connected when we're apart. It's not easy to actively work together. Thanks to the incredible modern systems available to us we kept in touch with those around us. We took our conversations online through Zoom and Teams (or other communication services). Nevertheless, some very important aspects of employee wellbeing might have been overlooked.

As a great employer it's extremely important to boost your employees’ personal growth. Not only will it make your employees perform at a higher level, it will also boost their confidence. When we learn new things, it gives us a feeling of accomplishment. Employers who strengthen the capabilities of their employees will receive great benefits in the long term. Confident and competent employees will perform better in their jobs and come up with new ideas and creative solutions to problems, something we desperately need in our teams nowadays.

Traditional ways of learning were limited due to social distancing. So, let's not forget to use our video resources in function of developing employee knowledge. Don't leave your employees in the cold. They still need proper guidance and support, maybe even more now than before.

Some interesting ways to utilize video right now are:

  • A video message from the CEO to boost moral

  • A step-by-step training for the most used systems

  • A mindset training to keep everyone in the right state of mind

Start nourishing your employees with video. And of course, we are always here to give you the support you need. You might already have too much on your plate to spend your own time making video’s. In that case, let’s set up a quick call to get you started. It would be our pleasure to help you out.
